As fellow volunteers, it is our recommendation that you consider utilizing vendors to supplement, and in some cases take over, your day-to-day operations. Utilizing outside vendors will help you and your fellow board members accomplish several things:
- Implement best practices across all disciplines
- Be consistent in execution – everyone will know expectations and help eliminate surprises
- Free up volunteer time to focus on short-term and long-term strategic planning
- Spend more time mentoring collegiate members & coordinating alumni events
